“Rock Great” Tak Matsumoto & “Jazz Great” Larry Carlton have collaborated on a Jazz album entitled “Take Your Pick”, produced by Carlton & Matsumoto, the album features drummer Billy Kilson, bassist Michael Rhodes, keyboardist Jeff Babko, saxophonist Mark Douthit, trumpeter Mike Haynes and trombonist Barry Green.
Take Your Pick, has been selected for Grammy nomination consideration in 9 categories! Record of the Year, Album of the Year, Best Pop Instrumental Album, Best Pop Instrumental Performance, Best Rock Instrumental Performance, Best Instrumental Composition, Best Instrumental Arrangement, Best Engineered Album, Producer of the Year, Non-Classical.
